Rick Gutierrez

Rick Gutierrez is a Latino-American stand-up comedian from Chicago, Illinois, best known for his family-friendly takes on marriage, parenting and traditional values. He headlines clubs across the United States and is closely associated with Gabriel Iglesias, who has executive produced his TV work and brought him on tour.

Gutierrez's one-hour special Gabriel Iglesias Presents Rick Gutierrez: I'm Not Mad, I'm Just a Parent (2014) was executive-produced by Gabriel Iglesias, aired on NUVOtv, and later streamed on Netflix. He appeared across two seasons of Comedy Central's Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution and has TV credits including BET's Comic View, Showtime's Latino Laugh Festival and NBC's Friday Night Videos. His style is throwback observational comedy built around marriage, kids and Latino family life. HBO has explored developing a comedy series based on his stand-up about marriage and divorce.

Rick Gutierrez tours North American comedy clubs year-round, with frequent dates at Improv venues including Chicago Improv, Brea Improv, San Jose Improv and LOL San Antonio.
