Steve Lee

Steve Lee (Chinese name 李世扶) is a Chinese American stand-up comedian, actor, producer and writer based in Los Angeles. Originally from Hong Kong, he came to the United States at age 17 as an exchange student. Lee is a trilingual performer in English, Cantonese and Mandarin and is one of the very few openly disabled Asian American comedians touring internationally.

Steve Lee won the Hong Kong New Cantonese Stand-Up Comedian title and was a runner-up at the Hong Kong International Comedy Competition. He has been invited to the Burbank Comedy Festival's Best of the Fest show, performed at SF Sketchfest in San Francisco and reached the World Series of Comedy Final Week in Las Vegas. He is a staple at clubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, and has opened for headliners including Tom Rhodes, Tom Cotter, Brad Williams and Brent Weinbach. Lee's comedy centers on his experiences as an immigrant living with Amyoplasia Congenita Disruptive Sequence, exploring racism, identity and disability with stories and tight punchlines.

Steve Lee tours regularly between the United States and Asia, performing at comedy clubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. He also works as a motivational speaker and books corporate dates alongside his club work.
