About The Greg Wilson
The Greg Wilson got into comedy through improvisation. Phil Larsson heard about him and made him a member of Ad-Libs, an improv theatre group in Dallas, and Wilson went on to build shows of his own: The Comedy Madhouse in Las Vegas and, after that, The Greg Wilson's Stand-Up Smackdown! in New York City. Working out of Los Angeles, he has played The Laugh Factory and Stand Up NY.
His stand-up has reached television through Showtime's White Boyz in the Hood, Comics Unleashed and Comedy.tv, and from 2012 to 2013 he was part of the cast of World's Dumbest... He was also featured in an episode of the reality show Who Wants to Date a Comedian?.
On screen as an actor he had a starring part in the 2008 romantic comedy The Hottie and the Nottie, opposite Paris Hilton and Joel David Moore, and has taken small episodic roles in Bones, Ugly Betty and Modern Family. In the video game Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories he voices JD O'Toole. He has co-hosted the podcast Hot N' Heavy with the model Angie Everhart, and he passes the craft on through The Comedy Institute, the stand-up academy he runs.
