Tommy Brennan
Stand-up comedian from United States ๐บ๐ธ
About Tommy Brennan
Tommy Brennan studied accounting at the University of Notre Dame before comedy took over. In Chicago he started in improv at The Second City, but improv could not give him stage time as often as he wanted, so he switched to stand-up, where a comic can play several shows in a single night.
For a while he held jobs at Cameo and LinkedIn, and in 2023 he went full time. That year Just for Laughs in Montreal named him a New Face of Comedy. He has opened for Nikki Glaser, Taylor Tomlinson and Louie Anderson, and his national television debut was a stand-up set on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
His material is observational, drawn from American habits, everyday behaviour, family, pop culture and the Midwest where he grew up. With his friend Tim Smith he made the podcast and web series Roommates-In-Law during the pandemic. In 2025 he joined Saturday Night Live as a featured player for its 51st season.
