About Tony Deyo
Anthony Robert "Tony" Deyo, born in 1973, is an American stand-up comedian. He attended Parry McCluer High School and is a United States citizen. In 2013, he made his late-night television debut on Conan, and just a few months later he made a second television appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
Deyo has performed at the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival, and his comedy can be heard on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Over the course of his career he has released several comedy albums, beginning with I'm Telling You For The First Time in 2011, followed by Comedy Road Trip in 2016.
In 2019, Deyo recorded his third album, Secret Headliner, in front of an unexpecting audience who had no idea who he was. He described the project as an experiment in testing his material on people with no preconceptions. "The true test of a joke," Deyo said of the album, "is will it make strangers laugh? Does it work when no one has any idea who you are?"
