Madam Boss
About Madam Boss
Madam Boss is the stage name of Tarisai Cleopatra Munetsiwa. Music came first: she started as a gospel artist, with Sunungura as her debut album. The comedy that made her known grew on social media, where her skits in the role of a maid were shared far beyond her own pages.
That online following turned into recognition from the industry around it. She was named Social Media Brand of the Year at the Zimbabwe Business Awards in 2017 and Socialite of the Year at the Zimbabwe Social Media Awards in 2018, and in 2021 she won the African Social Star category of the E! People's Choice Awards. Acting work took her outside Zimbabwe: she was cast in the Nollywood series The Offspring and appeared in Ubettina Wethu, a drama on the South African channel SABC 1.
