Comedians born in Laval
Quรฉbec, Canada ๐จ๐ฆ
The third-largest city in Quebec, Laval occupies Ile Jesus, an island just north of Montreal across the Riviere des Prairies. Once a patchwork of farming villages, it merged into a single city in the 1960s and grew into a major suburban centre with commercial districts, parks and residential neighbourhoods, closely tied to the Montreal metropolitan area.
With Montreal's globally famous comedy scene next door, Laval residents are never far from live stand-up, and the city is the birthplace of comedians Martin Matte and Rachid Badouri.
