Isaac Butterfield

Isaac Butterfield is an Australian comedian and content creator from Newcastle, New South Wales, who has built one of the largest Australian comedy followings on YouTube with over 2.2 million subscribers. His career is rooted in online content - rants, commentary, and stand-up clips - and has expanded into nationally touring live shows and recorded stand-up specials. Butterfield is known for a deliberately provocative, unfiltered persona that frequently takes aim at political correctness and social media culture, and his audience is predominantly young Australian men. He is among the most prominent examples of the online-first generation of Australian comedians.

Butterfield launched his YouTube channel as his primary platform, using rant-style videos and commentary to grow a large and loyal audience before establishing himself on the live circuit. His 2020 stand-up special Anti Hero is available on YouTube and Amazon Prime Video, and introduced him to audiences beyond his online following. He is also associated with The Isaac Butterfield Podcast, which extends his commentary style into long-form audio. In 2025, he released a further full stand-up special titled The Worst Day Of My Life on YouTube, and his most recent work, Public Enemy, was filmed in 2025 and published on YouTube in late 2025 to early 2026. His regional 2025 tour was described as his most successful touring run to date, with multiple sold-out dates. Butterfield has been involved in several public controversies related to jokes about sensitive topics, including a widely reported incident involving a joke about the 2019 Christchurch mosque attacks.

Isaac Butterfield tours Australian venues regularly, with his 2025 regional run including sold-out dates across New South Wales and Victoria. His stand-up specials Anti Hero and Public Enemy are available free on YouTube. Anti Hero is also on Amazon Prime Video. His website isaacbutterfield.com lists current tour dates and ticket links.
