About Ivan Usovich
Ivan Usovich got to stand-up by way of KVN, the team comedy contest, which he played at school in Myadzel and again in the student league while studying at the Belarusian State University of Economics in Minsk. Slava Komisarenko, who ran that league, turned the student team into a stand-up show, and Usovich was one of its comics.
He moved to Moscow in 2013. Appearances on Comedy Battle Without Borders in 2013 and 2014 led to an invitation to Stand Up on TNT, the programme that made him known to Russian television audiences, and in 2017 Maxim put him fifth in its list of Russia's best stand-up comedians.
He works in Russian. His first solo concert, Yet Another Day, was released in December 2020, and the second, 40 Years Maximum, followed in December 2023. Outside stand-up he took part in the television game show The Weakest Link in 2021.
