Alexandre Forest

Alexandre Forest is a Quebec comedian who grew up on his family's poultry farm in Sainte-Mélanie, in the Lanaudière region. He was raised on the social satire of Yvon Deschamps and credits his father with teaching him how to shape a joke of his own. He graduated from the École nationale de l'humour with the class of 2016.

His hour Mûr played Zoofest in July 2018, in the small La Balustrade room of the Monument-National, and was back in the festival's programme in 2019. The show dealt with mental health, starting from his own depression and anxiety, a subject he also discussed in interviews at the time, and went on to ask what being "a real guy" means for someone who worked on a farm all through his youth and also likes brunch. In 2021 the festival announced him in a shared 30/30 show with Charles Beauchesne.

Away from the stage he films his workshop: hand planes, furniture and the restoration of a 1985 Ford F-150 sit on his YouTube channel beside tour vlogs. Try-out dates for what a Quebec City events listing called his first one-man show were on sale for 2026, among them nights at the Théâtre du Petit Champlain.
