About Arnaud Soly
Arnaud Soly (born 26 December 1989 in Montreal) is a Quebec comedian, improviser and author. Born into a family of musicians, he began improv in secondary school at Joseph-Francois-Perrault and continued at CEGEP alongside Phil Roy and Virginie Fortin. In 2018 he joined the third season of Les 5 prochains on ICI ARTV, and in 2019 he was recruited to the National Improv League, where he won the Pierre-Curzi rookie of the year award. He gained wider popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic and launched his first solo show, Stand-up, in 2020, which won the discovery of the year prize at the 22nd Gala des Olivier in 2021. With Julien Corriveau he created the sketch show Club Soly, which aired on Noovo for three seasons between 2021 and 2023, and since 2024 he has hosted the Soly Podcast, which parodies different podcast formats each episode. His second solo show, Bon jus, about becoming a parent, premiered in March 2025, and in 2026 he began hosting the cooking competition series Nuls en chef.
