François Bellefeuille

Francois Bellefeuille (born 28 January 1976 in Trois-Rivieres) is a Quebec comedian, a former veterinarian and the father of two children: his daughter Dali and his son Milo. He obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine at the Universite de Montreal in 1999. After about ten years of practice, he turned to a career as a comedian. From 2005 to 2007, he trained at the Ecole nationale de l'humour. He won the Concours de la releve en humour de l'Abitibi in 2010 and was named Revelation of the year at the Festival Juste pour rire 2010. In 2011, he received their Prix Coup de coeur des medias for his 60-minute show presented at the Zoofest of the Festival Juste pour rire.

That same year, he was named Decouverte de l'annee at the Gala Les Olivier. He launched his very first eponymous one-man-show in February 2014 and hosted his first Gala Juste pour rire in July 2014. In 2015, he co-founded the Bordel Comedie Club with five other Quebec comedians. In 2019, he hosted the podcast 3.7 Planetes aiming to raise awareness about climate change and the environment. On 13 October 2024, he married Miriam Tougas after a long relationship of 11 years.

In September 2025, Bellefeuille launched his third solo show, titled Sauvage, whose media premiere took place on 30 September at the Olympia de Montreal and on 9 October at the Salle Albert-Rousseau in Quebec. With his first two shows, Francois Bellefeuille and Le plus fort au monde, he had gathered more than 535,000 spectators across Quebec. Sauvage had already sold more than 50,000 tickets even before its Montreal premiere.
