About Pierre Hébert
Pierre Hebert is a Quebec humorist, author and actor. He is mainly known for the role of Pierre in the television series VRAK la vie on the channel VRAK.TV, of which he is co-designer and main author. After completing a bachelor's degree in psychology, he was admitted to the Ecole nationale de l'humour and obtained his diploma in humour creation in 2005. In 2008, his character of Renaud, inspired by a character of the same name from the television series Annie et ses hommes, earned him the title of Revelation at the festival Juste pour rire. The same year, he took part in writing the Bye Bye 2008 alongside Louis Morissette, Francois Avard and Jean-Francois Mercier.
In 2010, he won the Decouverte de l'annee trophy at the gala Les Olivier. The following year, he presented his first one-man-show titled Mon premier spectacle, written in collaboration with Francois Avard. In 2016, Hebert launched a major campaign to promote his 2nd show Le gout du risque; lasting 48 hours, the mystery humorist advertising campaign put tickets on sale at a cost of 20 dollars without revealing the name of the humorist, allowing more than 90% of his 2017 show tickets to be sold. In 2026, Pierre Hebert launched his third one man show, named Grandiose.
In parallel with his career as a humorist, Hebert is very active on the small screen. He owes a large part of his popular success to the sketch show VRAK la vie broadcast from 2009 to 2015, of which he developed the concept and is one of the main authors, and in which he plays the character of Pierre, the leader of the gang. In 2011 he hosted the show Remise a neuf. Since 2015, Hebert plays in Madame Lebrun on Super Ecran, in which he plays the character of Bruno, the son of Madame Lebrun, and since 2015 he is the host of Gang de malades, a hidden camera show. The partner of Pierre Hebert has Crohn's disease; the couple has three children, two biological (a daughter named Agnes born in 2014 and a son named Alfred born in 2017) and they also adopted Pierre's goddaughter named Rosalie on 16 September 2018. He is the nephew of the actor Francois L'Ecuyer.
