Vojtěch Záveský

Vojtěch Záveský works under the name Vojtaano and moves between the music stage and the stand-up stage.

Vojtaano was born in Litomerice in 1983 and moved to Prague after grammar school, where he began writing songs.

The song Lavina, which became the main theme of the web series Vysehrad, first carried the name of Vojtaano beyond music audiences, and Budulinek vs. Galantni Jelen followed.

Yes, Vojtaano is one of the regular performers on Na stojaka, the Czech stand-up programme.

Vojtaano writes songs that cut across hip hop, blues, reggae, ska and punk, and his albums include The Best of Vojtaano, Do trojky and Stastnej.

Vojtaano has taken parts in series such as Vinari, Ulice and Kriminalka Andel, and for the feature Vysehrad Fylm he both appeared on screen and wrote the music.
