About Martin Nørgaard

Martin Nørgaard first went on stage at 18 and made his name early: in 2010 he took third place at DM i stand-up-comedy, held at Vega in Copenhagen. In September 2012 he started a podcast with his friend and fellow comedian Elias Ehlers, which later got the title Det Dystre Skæg.

At the Zulu Comedy Galla in 2014 he won Garmins Talentpris, and the prize brought him his own programme on TV 2 Zulu, Nørgaards Netfix. He toured his first one-man show, Indebrændt, in 2017, followed it with Hygge in 2019 and later with Ironisk?, and he appeared in the group show Rage Against the Mainstream alongside Torben Chris, Michael Schøt and Morten Wichmann.

On stage he mixes sarcasm, frustration and honesty with a critical eye on society. Much of his work is spoken rather than staged: he has been part of Det Tomme Magasin on P3, and with the comedian Sofie Flykt he makes the podcast Det Værste Par, previously called Et Ægte Par. He has also written for Tæt På Sandheden and hosted Grin Til Gavn.
