Gérémy Crédeville

Gérémy Crédeville studied sport at university and worked as a fitness coach until a wedding speech changed his plans. The guests liked it so much that a friend entered him in a comedy contest at the Festival d'Ailleurs et d'à côté in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, he won it in 2010 and soon gave up coaching.

His first solo show, Parfait et modeste, ran at the Spotlight in Lille, and alongside it he built Tournée Générale, an improvised show in which he has to work in words given by the audience. En vrai, le titre, on s'en fout and Enfin came next, and Enchanteur mixes sketches, stand-up and music around the question of why anyone should have to choose, with plenty of self-mockery. In his first years on stage he won the Printemps du Rire and the comedy festival in Villeneuve-sur-Lot and took jury prizes at Saint-Raphaël and Drôle de zèbres.

On television he went from On n'demande qu'à en rire on France 2 and the Jamel Comedy Club to regular spots on Vendredi tout est permis and Tout le monde a son mot à dire. He finished second on Mask Singer, became a panellist on Les Grosses Têtes on RTL, contributed to La Bande originale on France Inter and plays in the series En famille.
