Comedians born in Lille

Lille, the capital of the Hauts-de-France region, stands in the far north of France near the Belgian border and anchors a large cross-border metropolis. It has Flemish-influenced architecture, a grand old town and a famous annual flea market, making it a lively student and cultural hub.

Its rich nightlife and many venues make it one of northern France's key stops for touring comedians and the growing stand-up scene, home to Yves Pujol and Audrey Vernon.
