About Anthony Lambert

Jarry, real name Anthony Lambert, is a French stand-up comedian, actor, director and television host born on August 5, 1977 in Angers. He moved to Paris at 22, trained with the Entrees de Jeu theatre company, and was encouraged by Didier Bourdon to pursue comedy. He launched his autobiographical one-person show 'Entre fous emois' in 2007 and became one of the most popular live comedians in France with his explosive on-stage energy.

Jarry built his reputation with 'Atypique' (2013-2019), a one-man-show that played more than 500 dates and was seen by over 200,000 spectators across France, Belgium, Switzerland and Quebec. His stage name was inspired by his mother Janine Jarry. From October 2023 he launched his third creation, 'Bonhomme', which sold over 250,000 tickets and ran for more than 160 dates including a residency at l'Olympia in October 2024 and the Dome de Paris/Palais des Sports in April 2025. He also hosts and appears in French television programmes and films, and his hyperactive, generous and emotional stage persona is widely considered one of the most distinctive in contemporary French humour.

Jarry's 'Bonhomme' tour continues through 2025 and 2026 across Zenith venues in France, Switzerland, Belgium and Quebec, with three dates at the Folies Bergere in Paris from November 27-29, 2025. Tickets are sold via Fnac Spectacles, Ticketmaster France and his official site jarryatypique.fr. Highlights from his previous shows are available on his YouTube channel.
