About Marina Rollman

Marina Rollman is a Swiss stand-up comedian born on 9 August 1988 in Geneva. She studied architecture and then classic literature in Switzerland and Paris before turning to comedy, citing Jerry Seinfeld's special "I'm Telling You for the Last Time" as a key inspiration. After an unsuccessful attempt at a Paris comedy contest in 2009, she returned to stand-up in 2013, encouraged by fellow Swiss comedian Thomas Wiesel, and performed her first open stage set in Switzerland that year.

Rollman became known for a style combining dark humor with soft irony, part of a new generation of French-speaking female comedians. She appeared at the Montreux Comedy Festival and the Jamel Comedy Club and opened for Gad Elmaleh. From 2016 she became a regular contributor to "Les Beaux Parleurs" on Swiss radio station RTS La Premiere, and from September 2017 she held a biweekly segment on France Inter's "La Bande Originale," hosted by Nagui. Since 2019 she has performed her solo stand-up show "Un Spectacle drole" at the Theatre de l'Oeuvre in Paris, earning praise from French and Swiss critics, and she has co-hosted the Montreux festival's "Gala Stand Up" alongside Thomas Wiesel.
