Pierre Thevenoux

Pierre Thevenoux is a French stand-up comedian born in Poitiers, where he grew up in the Trois Cites neighborhood. Before turning to comedy, he held various jobs, including go-go dancer, and co-founded an online concierge business. He began performing stand-up around age 25 and became a regular stage performer after taking part in season 9 of the Jamel Comedy Club, also appearing at the Point Virgule theater in Paris and touring with his own solo show in Paris and beyond.

On stage, Thevenoux presents observational sketches on everyday social topics such as couples, social classes, French regions, ecology and religion, delivered in a self-deprecating, conversational style. In 2023, he launched the comedy podcast Podkassos alongside fellow comedians Urbain and Franjo, friends of nearly a decade. Unlike interview-format podcasts, Podkassos features no outside guests, with the three hosts instead discussing everyday observations and cultural topics from their own comedic perspectives.
