Tania Dutel

Tania Dutel is a French stand-up comedian born on June 5, 1989 in Villefranche-sur-Saône, in the Rhône department. Her father worked as a supervisor and later executive at France Télécom and her mother stayed at home to raise four children. She moved to Paris at the age of 19 and started doing stand-up in the Parisian club scene, premiering her first solo show "Qui êtes-vous et que faites-vous dans ma chambre?" in 2014 at Café Paname.

Dutel quickly developed a stage universe rooted in intimacy and self-mockery, addressing subjects often considered taboo: the female body, sexuality, contraception, mental load and how others see her. Her 2017 sketch at the Montreux Comedy Festival, "Séance chez l'esthéticienne", reached a large audience on YouTube and consolidated her national reputation. Her first filmed special appeared on Netflix in 2019 as part of the anthology series Humoristes du monde (Comedians of the World). Her second special "Les Autres", filmed at the Théâtre Antoine in Paris, was released on Canal+ in 2024 and remains the most complete on-screen portrait of her work to date. From September 2022 she joined the France Inter morning show "Zoom zoom zen" with a weekly humor column titled "Moi c'que j'en dis". In October 2024 she launched her new touring stand-up show "En Rodage" at La Scala in Paris, with the polished version of the show set to tour France and Switzerland through 2026.

Tania Dutel is currently touring her new solo show across France and Switzerland through the 2025-2026 season, with dates including her hometown Théâtre de Villefranche-sur-Saône in April 2026. Tickets are sold via Fnac Spectacles and the venues directly. Her Canal+ special "Les Autres" is the best way to discover her stage material on screen, and her weekly column on France Inter offers a regular audio window into her humor.
