About Tom Villa

Tom Villa is a French stand-up comedian, radio host and actor born on June 5, 1989, in Paris. He spent his childhood in Seine-et-Marne, where he developed an interest in humor early through sketches and parody videos. He began his career on radio, hosting programmes on Sport MX which later became Europe 1 Sport, then wrote for comedian Jerome Commandeur before launching his own stand-up at the Paname Art Cafe in Paris and opening for established acts including Gad Elmaleh, Anne Roumanoff, Jeff Panacloc and Mathieu Madenian.

In 2012 Tom Villa joined Canal+'s daily show La Nouvelle Edition, discovered by Christelle Graillot, as a comedic commentator. He then became a fixture of Salut les Terriens! on Canal+ alongside Thierry Ardisson, where he delivered weekly chronicles on French current affairs, politics and pop culture that brought him national recognition. His first one-man show "Les nommes sont..." premiered at Bobino in Paris, written and directed with Edouard Pluvieux, structured as a mock award ceremony in which Tom Villa, dressed in a tuxedo, hands out trophies for the absurdities of French society and mocks himself in the process. The show was broadcast live on TMC from Bobino on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 21:10, then toured across France and Belgium. Alongside stand-up he has built a parallel career in fiction, including a recurring role in the France 2 series Munch, and continues to host radio shows and write television chronicles.

Tom Villa continues to tour "Les nommes sont..." across France during the 2025-2026 season, with regular Paris runs at Bobino and other venues. His Bobino performance broadcast live on TMC on January 11, 2023 is available on TMC and MyTF1 replay platforms. He also appears regularly on French radio and television.
