About Robert Treutel
Bodo Bach is a fictional character invented in 1994 by the radio presenter and comedian Robert Treutel (born 25 October 1957 in Frankfurt am Main) and made known beyond the region since then. Characteristic of the comic figure are the New Hessian regiolect and a Batschkapp. The figure first became known through prank calls broadcast by the radio station FFH. His trademark became his exclamation "Isch hätt da gern emal e Problem", with which each of his telephone calls began in order to drive the conversation partner to despair, and he often closed the conversation with the words "Ich verabscheu' mich!". By now he has conducted over 1500 such conversations.
He frequently appears in the panel teams of the shows Strassenstars and Dings vom Dach on hr-fernsehen as well as Meister des Alltags and Sag die Wahrheit on SWR. Between 2016 and 2026 he was also a guest on Wer weiß denn sowas? a total of eight times. His prank calls and further comedy stories were released on several CDs, which among other things also contain parodies of well-known personalities such as Rudolph Moshammer and Lothar Matthäus. In 2001 Bodo Bach got his own TV show on Sat.1 with the title Bodo Bach - Bei Anruf Lachen, which represents the previous highlight of his career.
From 2003 to 2006 he toured with his comedy programme Grinskram in over 160 performances. On 18 November 2006 a further tour through Germany began with the programme 4-tel nach Bach, in which, unlike in earlier programmes, he made calls live. In 2008 he was invited to the Arosa Humor-Festival, and until 2009 he appeared in the show Verstehen Sie Spaß? as a reporter. His first role as an actor was in the television film Das Musikhotel am Wolfgangsee.
