About Christian Schiffer
Christian Schiffer is a German stand-up comedian, author, parodist and actor born on January 20, 1985 in Aachen. He is best known as one of Germany's leading impressionists and voice imitators, with a collection of 143 parodied voices of national and international public figures from politics, sports, music and show business, ranging from Jogi Lรถw to international celebrities. Unlike pure Stimmenimitatoren, Schiffer also works as a stand-up comedian who builds full sets and characters around his voices, performing on stage, in radio and on streaming TV.
Schiffer began parodying his teachers as a schoolboy and stepped onto German stand-up stages from 2007 onward. He was a regular guest on Nightwash, Quatsch Comedy Club and TV Total before dedicating eight years to radio comedy. His breakout format "Jogis Eleven" parodied national football coach Jogi Lรถw and the German national team, ran from 2014 to 2020, was broadcast on 16 stations nationwide, became a bestselling audiobook (Beim Weltmeischter daheim) and inspired two live tours: "Jogis Eleven - in 11 Schritten zum Europameischter" (from 2015) and "Jogis Eleven - Jetzt erscht recht" (2017-2018), both touring almost continuously sold out across 30+ German cities. Since 2020 he has been part of the fixed ensemble of "Binge Reloaded" on Amazon Prime Video. He studied German studies, philosophy and classical literature studies, and his current touring projects include the joint stand-up and parody show "One Night Only" with Mario Roggow.
Christian Schiffer tours German-speaking Europe with his voice-driven stand-up shows, including the "One Night Only" co-headline with Mario Roggow (dates include Bremen 2025), and continues to appear on the Quatsch Comedy Club and Nightwash live circuit.
