Christine Eixenberger

Christine "Chrissy" Eixenberger (born 20 January 1987 in Tegernsee) is a German Kabarettistin and actress. She grew up in Schliersee, her mother a hotel manageress and her father a craftsman. After her Abitur she completed training as a Rechtsanwaltsfachangestellte, then began law studies at the Universität Passau. In 2010 she moved to the Universität München, where she began studies for Grundschullehramt and graduated in 2015 with the Staatsexamen.

From 2014 to 2017 she presented the BR programme Habe die Ehre together with Wolfgang Krebs. From 2016 until its discontinuation in 2025 she played a leading role in the ZDF Herzkino series Marie fängt Feuer. Since 2025 she has presented the BR programme Nachsitzen mit Christine Eixenberger. From 2010 to 2012 she performed together with Tobias Öller as the Kabarett duo Öller & Eixenberger with the programme Überstunden, and in the production Drei Kritische (2012 to 2017) she presented young Kabarett from Bavaria together with the Kabarettistin Franziska Wanninger.

Her solo programmes include Ballkontakt (2012), Lernbelästigung (2015), Fingerspitzenlösung (2018), Einbildungsfreiheit (2021) and Volle Kontrolle! (2024). Among her awards are the Thurn- und Taxis Kabarettpreis (third place, together with Tobias Öller) in 2012, the Kulmbacher Brettla in 2016, the Bayerischer Kabarettpreis (Senkrechtstarter-Preis) in 2019 and the Deutsche Feuerwehr-Ehrenmedaille in 2022.
