Luan

Luan is a German stand-up comedian, born in 1988 in Mitrovica, Kosovo, who fled to Germany with his family in 1992 at the age of four and grew up in Stuttgart in modest circumstances. He completed a dual degree program with the police and works as a police officer, a job that supplies much of his comedic material. He premiered his solo show Die Luan Comedy Show in 2017 in a sold-out run at Stuttgart's Corso-Bar, performing characters such as the German Dirk, the Croat Ivica and the Albanian Fatmir alongside stories about his strict Albanian father and life as an Albanian-Swabian police officer. He reached the semifinals of the NightWash Talent Award in 2019, and in 2026 he won a main prize worth 5,000 euros at the Kleinkunstpreis Baden-Wurttemberg, with the jury praising how he blends everyday observation, cultural friction and dry Swabian humor into an authentic, relatable style.
