Mariano Vivenzio

Mariano Vivenzio, known professionally as EMMVEE, is a German stand-up comedian based in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Baden-Wurttemberg. He performs in German and is frequently described as having Italian heritage, a theme he draws on in his material. He rose to prominence through short-form video on Instagram and TikTok, and by the mid-2020s had amassed a combined following of over 1.4 million across social platforms, making him one of the more visible newcomers in the German comedy scene.

EMMVEE's act centers on crowd work and audience interaction, and his humor is often characterized as "radically honest." His material frequently references his 1990s childhood and the dynamics of his Italian family. In 2022 he won the Comedy Clash Tour, a German stand-up competition, taking the final rounds in Essen and Stuttgart. He tours nationally with his live program "M wie Comedy," which grew to fill venues seating around 1,000 people.

In 2024 he released two comedy specials, "Back to Life" and "Familie ist alles!" (also titled "We Are Family"), recorded during shows at Stuttgart's Im Wizemann. EMMVEE also hosts the German adaptation of the interview format "Hot Ones Germany," in which he interviews celebrities over increasingly spicy chicken wings.
