Nico Stank

Nico Stank (born 2. August 1989 in Herne) is a German comedian, actor, musical performer and voice actor. Having grown up in the Ruhrgebiet, from 2009 Stank completed training as a Musicaldarsteller. Earlier he had already been a permanent member of the Schauspielhaus Bochum, and from 2013 to 2015 he was in the main cast of the musical Yakari in Stuttgart.

Since 2013 Stank has worked mainly as an actor, voice actor and stand-up comedian. He had his first major appearance as a comedian in 2016 at NightWash. He also gained recognition through social networks, and since 2019 has published comedy content on Instagram, frequently appearing in his character Nicola. After smaller supporting roles in various television series, in 2021 Stank played his first larger role in the comedy Liebesdings, among others with Elyas M'Barek. He plays his first lead roles in the film Freibad with Andrea Sawatzki and in the film Einfach mal was schönes, directed by Karoline Herfurth.

In 2022 Stank was awarded the Deutscher Comedypreis in the category Bester Newcomer. His filmography includes Liebesdings (2022), Freibad (2022), Einfach mal was Schönes (2022) and Chantal im Märchenland (2024). As a voice actor he has dubbed roles in productions such as All of Us Are Dead (2022) and 13: Das Musical (2022).
