About Nikita Miller
Nikita Miller was born in 1987 in Temirtau, in the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic. His mother's family, ethnic Volga Germans, had been deported to Kazakhstan after the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941. Following the collapse of the USSR, Miller moved with his father to Ukraine in 1992 and then to Ruppertshofen in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. Before becoming a comedian he worked for years as a bouncer at clubs in Stuttgart, an experience that features heavily in his stand-up material. In 2016 he was discovered by cabaret artist Klaus Birk and gave his first comedy performance in Tubingen, followed by appearances on the German television programs Nuhr ab 18, NightWash and the NDR Comedy Contest. His stand-up sets, built around subjects such as inheritance, his time as a bouncer and observations on Russia, are released on his YouTube channel. In 2024 he published the novel Kalasch, based on the life of a friend who grew up amid violence in the criminal underworld. Miller later moved to Cologne and, in early 2025, relocated to Norway.
