Philipp Richter (Schauspieler)

Philipp Richter's comedy goes back to his school years, when he and Christian Kühn founded the satire duo Die Ruhmkugeln. He went on to study acting at the Theaterakademie Vorpommern and has spent much of his career on stage, from the cabaret production ShowBiss! in Chemnitz to productions at the Boulevardtheater Dresden.

A large share of his work happens at the microphone. As an impressionist and commercial voice artist he is known for the voices of Bruce Willis, Udo Lindenberg, Homer Simpson and Helmut Kohl, among many others, and television hosts such as Olaf Schubert and Laura Karasek have invited him on as a guest. He presented the talk show Gesprächskultur mit Richter & Rottstädt on apollo radio, hosts the podcast Nu gucke ma da! together with Henriette Fee Grützner, and performs as a singer with his band Funky Beats.
