Ramona Schukraft began on the writing side of comedy. After training in Hamburg as a state-certified foreign language correspondent, she wrote freelance for the comedy series RTL Samstag Nacht, and in 1999 she passed the entrance exam for the first year group of the Köln Comedy Schule. Between 2000 and 2003 she was a comedy writer at the Cologne agency Spotting Image.
Her first solo programme, Mein erstes Mal, premiered in 2003. The role that defines her stage work is Sybille Bullatschek, a carer for the elderly from the made-up town of Pfleidelsheim, who carries the cabaret programme Volle Pflegekraft voraus!, premiered in Cologne at the end of 2009 and then taken on tour around Germany. Sybille Bullatschek has appeared in theatres and at festivals such as ComedyArts in Moers, and also at nursing conferences and in care facilities, among the professionals she portrays. In 2023 Schukraft published a first novel under the character's name. She also works as a coach for other artists.
