Mogács Dániel

Mogács Dániel (born 6 February 1977 in Budapest) is a Hungarian actor, humorist and streamer. His mother, Sárkány Katalin, is a fine and applied artist; Dániel always asks her to do the set and costume design for his productions, and among other things she designed the figures of the Susogós Mackók. His father painted and wrote, and his stepfather (who raised him from the age of one) worked as an architect. He has also held "civilian" jobs, such as woodcutter, customs clerk, warehouse worker, real estate agent and "telephone operator" at an internet company.

He graduated from the Théba Színiakadémia. In 2000, together with his companions, he created the Eleuszisz Színház, where he worked as both actor and director. After the company disbanded he became a freelancer, performing in Veszprém and Kecskemét, including at the puppet theatre. From the 19th episode he was a regular character in the situation-comedy series Munkaügyek - IrReality Show.

As a discovery of the Dumaszínház, he entered public awareness with stand-up comedy. As a member of the Dumaszínház he performs across the country and is regularly seen on the television programs Showder Klub and A Comedy Central bemutatja. He also takes part in the puppet one-minute pieces Susogós Mackók, voicing and operating Brendon and personifying among others Józsi, the drunken devil, and the crazy monkey. He took part in the 2010 local elections as the Magyar Kétfarkú Kutya Párt's candidate for mayor of Budapest's 7th district, but for lack of a sufficient number of nomination slips he decided to withdraw from politics and left the party.
