Redenczki Marcsi

Redenczki Marcsi (born 30 September 1969 in Kecskemét) is a Hungarian humorist. She is a member of the Stand up comedy Humortársulat and a performer of the Showder Klub, the Comedy Central tv channel and the Rádiókabaré. In 2009 her first humorous volume of short stories was published, titled Türelemfa, avagy Nevel vagy Nevelem a családom. In 2014 she also won over the jury at the TV2 stand up comedy competition. She receives numerous invitations to talk shows and has been seen on Ridikül and the Fábry Show. In 2020 the Showder Klub signed her. Her program is family-centered and her choice of topics revolves around the everyday lives of women: household, child-rearing, and she does not hide her opinion about men either.

She lives in her hometown. She graduated from the Kada Elek Közgazdasági Szakközépiskola in 1988. Her son Miklós was born on 20 September 1989 and her daughter Vivien on 7 June 1992. From 2004 to 2008 she wrote a blog titled Türelemfa, sharing cheerful stories and her opinions on daily current events, from which her first short-story volume was born in 2009. During this time she worked at the Ciróka Bábszínház in Kecskemét for nearly 10 years, from where she moved to the Ferencvárosi Művelődési Központ. She held economic administrator positions at all her workplaces.

In her comedy career, on 19 February 2011 she finished in 2nd place in the performer category at an amateur humorist talent search and won a special award. She was on Comedy Central in both 2011 and 2016. In 2012 she became a member of the Stand up comedy Humortársulat (formerly the KOmédia Stúdió Humortársulat), and in 2013 she debuted in the Rádiókabaré.
