Giorgio Montanini is an Italian stand-up comedian, satirical monologuist and actor born on December 17, 1977 in Fermo, in the Marche region. Trained as a chemical engineer and later a graduate in Communication Sciences, he became one of the most provocative voices on the Italian alternative comedy scene through his work with the Satiriasi collective and his long-running Comedy Central appearances.
Montanini made his theatrical debut in 2004 in Edipo re directed by Franco Branciaroli, then joined the Satiriasi collective founded by Filippo Giardina in 2008. He reached a wide audience on Sky Comedy Central with the show Stand Up Comedy, presenting his first solo theatre show Nibiru in 2011, followed by Un uomo qualunque (2012) and Senza titolo (2013). In 2014 he was the protagonist of Nemico Pubblico on Rai 3, his first prime-time television show, co-written with Filippo Giardina, Francesco De Carlo, Paolo Lizza and Giovanni Filippetto. His comedy is a corrosive, deeply political satirical monologue that does not look for easy laughs. His 90-minute show Fall premiered in 2024 and was relaunched as Fall Reloaded for the 2025-2026 season, touring sold-out theatres across Italy.
Giorgio Montanini is currently on the road with the Fall Reloaded Tour 2026, with dates across Italian theatres including Torino, Milano, Firenze, Bologna, Napoli, Genova, Parma, Pisa, Ravenna and his native Fermo.
