Giuseppe Iodice

Peppe Iodice, born Giuseppe Iodice on July 28, 1970 in the Barra neighborhood of Naples, is an Italian stand-up comedian, actor and TV host. Active since 1997, he is one of the leading faces of contemporary Neapolitan cabaret, known for the Rai 2 hit Made in Sud and for hosting his own late-night comedy talk show Peppy Night on Canale 21.

Iodice trained at the Accademia di Teatro directed by Ernesto Calindri and won Best Artist at the Festa degli Sconosciuti and the Premio Charlot in 1997. He made his television debut on Mediaset's Zelig Off with Claudio Bisio and Vanessa Incontrada, then appeared on Zelig Arcimboldi, Se stasera sono qui (La7), Quelli che il calcio (Rai 2) and Colorado (Italia 1), before becoming a fixture of Made in Sud on Rai 2, the show that turned him into a household name across Italy. Since March 12, 2021 he has hosted Peppy Night, a Neapolitan comedy and music talk show on Canale 21 that mixes monologues, character bits, musical guests and live audience interaction, with major Italian artists like Morgan and Sal Da Vinci dropping by. His comedy is built on Naples dialect, broad characters and improvised audience banter.

Peppe Iodice performs Peppy Night live from the Teatro Troisi in Naples and tours Italian theaters and outdoor arenas with the Peppy Night live show, including the Arena Flegrea.
