Diana Levine

Diana Levine is a Peruvian-American comedian, actress, director, coach and screenwriter recognized as the pioneer of stand-up comedy in Peru. In 1999, when the genre did not yet exist as a proposal in the country, she taught the first stand-up comedy workshop in Peru. She has continued working as a stand-up performer, comedy coach and teacher for 25 years, earning recognition beyond Peru's borders, and has represented Peru at the International Monologue Festival "Nitan solos," organized by Spain's Centro Cultural. Her workshops trained many people who became prominent figures in Peru's comedy and entertainment scene, including comedian Renzo Schuller and stand-up comedians Andy Amable, Jaime Herrera and Milagros Porturas. She continues to perform stand-up, coach other comedians and teach master classes through her social media channels.
