El Mostrito de la Risa
About El Mostrito de la Risa
El Mostrito de la Risa learned his trade in the open-air comedy of central Lima. He was in the audience at Parque Universitario when Chino Risas spotted his comic talent, and soon he was performing as a street comic on the Alameda Chabuca Granda under his stage name. His humour grew out of that circle: Chino Risas and the other cómicos ambulantes build their routines around teasing him about his face.
Television and online video widened his audience. From 2015 he collaborated with the programme Al sexto día, appearing in the report De vuelta al colegio next to the comedy duo La Bibi y el Jhonny. He is also part of Los Especiales, the cast of the El Chino Risas YouTube channel, where he shares sketches with comics such as Juan Salvatierra, known as el cholo Juan. With Los Especiales he came on JB en ATV as a special guest in 2022, and in 2023 he joined Jirón del humor, playing the companion of the lead character in the sketch El guapo del barrio.
