About Laura Spoya
Laura Vivian Spoya Solano is a Peruvian television host and former beauty queen who won Miss Peru Universo in 2015 and represented Peru at Miss Universe that same year. In 2017 she began performing stand-up comedy, debuting at an open mic night on September 18 of that year to a sold-out crowd, which led her to add further open mic dates in October. She toured a solo comedy show, "Sin Anestesia", built around monologues on heartbreak, relationships and shared female experience; the tour played dates in Ecuador, including Guayaquil's Parque Historico and the Hotel Sail in Manta, as well as shows in Mexico and Peru. She has since built a career as a content creator and television host, presenting the YouTube talk show "Good Time" on the channel Todo Good and, more recently, her own channel, La Spoya, home to the podcast "DesMadres con Laura Spoya".
