About Michael Ovalle
Michael Ovalle first appeared on Peruvian television as a child, in the children's programme Hola Yola. The nickname Pato comes from one of his signature voices: he imitates Donald Duck, and pato is Spanish for duck. Chatuca is another of the characters he is known for.
On television his comedy has run through humour programmes such as Sábado bravazo on Panamericana, Recargados de risa on América Televisión, and later El wasap de JB and Jirón del humor on Latina Televisión. Radio has been an equal part of the job, with Los fantásticos del humor on Radio La Karibeña, Patas arriba on La Mega and El súper show de la Karibeña. He stages his own live show, El circo del Pato Ovalle, and has taken his comedy online with the web programme La casa de la comedia and the podcast Hablando de más.
