About Victor Pătrășcan

Victor Patrascan is a Romanian stand-up comedian performing exclusively in English, known for being permanently on tour across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East for over five years without a fixed home base. He grew up in a small village in eastern Romania, studied Philosophy, then moved to London in 2012 where he began performing stand-up at the UCL Print Room Cafe. A 100% independent producer, he books, promotes, and performs every show himself with no agents or sponsors.

Victor Patrascan launched his stand-up career on the London comedy circuit, where he won the King Gong at both the London and Manchester Comedy Stores and reached the finals of the Beat the Frog World Series. In 2019-2020 he toured 30+ European cities with his show "The Trouble with Being Born Romanian", which he also performed as a solo show at the Edinburgh and Brighton Festivals. Since April 2021 he has been touring "The Dirty Immigrant", a show about identity, immigration, religion, and politics. By 2024 he had performed 298 shows in 41 countries and 114 cities in a single year - venues ranging from theatres and museums to a boat and a bomb shelter. His comedy is rooted in the immigrant experience, Romanian identity, and sharp observational takes on life across cultures. He has also been featured on The XYZ Podcast discussing his permanent touring lifestyle.

Victor Patrascan performs continuously across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, with his current show "Stand Up Comedy in Broken English" appearing in cities including London, Edinburgh, Lisbon, Sofia, Trondheim, Dusseldorf, Paris, Zurich, and many others. Each year he announces shows on 2+ new continents - 2026 is set to be his biggest expansion yet. He produces every show himself and sells tickets via his official website.
