Andreu Casanova

Andreu Casanova worked in hospitality for several years before comedy became his job. Born in Barcelona in 1985, he committed to it full-time in 2012, and from then on built a place on the Spanish monologue circuit with theatre runs in Madrid and Barcelona.

His stage career rests on solo shows that stay on the bill for a long time. Among the best received are 50 sombras de Andreu, Vermunólogos and Los locos de la impro, and Tinder Sorpresa, which opened in 2019, has been playing in theatres for more than seven years.

From 2018 he has worked with Comedy Central, Phi Beta Lambda and the radio station Onda Cero, among others. Screen roles came later: several episodes of the Spanish series Yrreal in 2021, a place in the cast of the comedy series Martita two years afterwards, and a part in the film Castigo Divino in 2026. He has also written episodes of the series Fuera de serie.
