Diego Peña

Stand-up comedian from Spain 🇪🇸

About Diego Peña

Diego Pena is a Zaragoza-based comedian with more than two decades on stage, having started out performing in local bars and small venues before moving to theatres across Aragon and the rest of Spain. He has recorded four monologos for Comedy Central, formerly Paramount Comedy, and two more for the FDF program "Sopa de Gansos Instant", appeared in one of the final episodes of the Tele 5 series "Aida", and was a guest on the Canal+ humour program "Ilustres Ignorantes". Over his career he has written and toured five original solo theatre shows: "Esquizopena", "Circus Mc Nificus", "Big Bang Doble y Dios de Patatas", "Siendo Franco" and "Increible pero Cierzo", mixing surrealism with comic observation, music, projections and elements of magic. In January 2024 he marked 21 years in comedy with the solo show "21", a deliberate return to the classic stand-up format of his earliest bar performances, staged at Zaragoza's Teatro del Mercado.
