About Gustavo Biosca
Gustavo Biosca is a Spanish stand-up comedian, screenwriter and author born in Madrid in 1977, the youngest of three siblings, who grew up moving between the Madrid neighborhoods of Oporto, Plaza de España and Delicias. He studied magic as a child and began performing professionally on stage at seventeen, before reinventing himself in 2001 as a stand-up monologuista specializing in what he calls wild provocation. He became widely known in 2007 through the La Sexta program "Sabías a lo que Venías," hosted by Santiago Segura, in which he took on real world confrontations in character, earning him the nickname "El Cómico Suicida." Biosca has recorded a series of stand-up monologues for Comedy Central España and continues to tour Spanish theatres with his own solo shows, including "Kabraloker," "Idos al Infierno" and "Y el Loco Soy Yo," each built around roughly an hour of provocative, acid material drawn from his own unconventional life.
