About Oyirum
Oyirum is the name under which Ángela Hitos Murillo, from Tarragona, performs stand-up and publishes online. Much of her audience finds her through the internet: besides her YouTube channel she is on Instagram, TikTok and Twitch, and the community around those accounts is part of how her comedy travels.
The jokes come out of who she is and what she campaigns for. Stand-up sits next to her work as an activist for the rights of disabled people, as an influencer and as a lecturer, and her material shares ground with feminism and the body positive movement. She studied at the University of Barcelona.
