About Suricato Capitán
Suricato Capitan is the stage name of a stand-up comedian based in Sevilla and a resident performer of PCR Comedy, the stand-up club that programmes monologo nights at venues across the city including Platea Cafe Copas, La Fundicion and the Platea Odeon space inside the Plaza de Armas shopping centre. PCR Comedy is billed as offering some of the purest, freshest stand-up comedy found in Andalusia, built on shows in small, alternative Sevilla venues. Suricato Capitan organizes and hosts open-mic comedy nights in the city, giving new local comedians stage time, and has performed on PCR Comedy's mixed stand-up bills, including the "PCR Comedy All Stars" show at Teatro La Fundicion in November 2023 alongside fellow comedians Pablo Shurmano and La Prados. He runs his own comedy website and maintains an active YouTube channel featuring his stand-up material and show announcements.
