Victoria Martín

María Victoria Olaya Martín de la Cova (born in Madrid on November 7, 1989), better known as Victoria Martín, is a Spanish comedian, scriptwriter, television presenter and radio collaborator. She holds a degree in Periodismo from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and a Máster de guion en cine y televisión, and completed her training with specialized courses in Comunicación y Medios and Marketing y Analítica Digital. Her first audiovisual job came from AMC Networks International Iberia, where she was part of the communication department, and she was also a producer and broadcaster at M80, of the Prisa group.

In 2017 she created, together with Nacho Pérez-Pardo, the YouTube channel Living Postureo, dedicated to parodying millennial culture; its success on social media allowed her to join as a collaborator on Yu: No te pierdas nada. In 2018 she premiered, alongside Esther Gimeno and Pilar de Francisco, El eje del mal, a theater piece centered on female empowerment. In 2019 she began working as a scriptwriter on La resistencia and as a collaborator on Las que faltaban, both for the #0 channel of Movistar, and later that year presented Problemas del primer mundo, a program by Atresmedia. In 2020 she premiered Válidas on YouTube, a series written by and starring Victoria Martín and Carolina Iglesias and directed by Nacho Pérez-Pardo, which received the award for Best Serie Estatal and the Premio del Público at the VII edition of the festival Carballo Interplay. Also in 2020 she created, together with Carolina Iglesias, the podcast Estirando el chicle, which after a first self-produced season signed with Podium Podcast and became one of the most listened-to podcasts in Spain.

In September 2021 she worked as a presenter alongside Ana Morgade on the Europa FM program Yu: no te pierdas nada, retiring two months later for personal reasons. In October 2022 she premiered her solo podcast Malas Personas on Podimo with guests such as Blanca Suárez, Mario Casas and Silvia Abril. In February 2023 she published her first novel, "Se tiene que morir mucha gente", under the imprint "Plaza & Janés", which became a best-seller with more than 70,000 copies sold. On June 14, 2024, she was one of four Spanish humorists, out of a total of one hundred and seven invited humorists, at a meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican. On May 21, 2026, the series Se tiene que morir mucha gente, starring Anna Castillo, Macarena García, Laura Weissmahr and Sofía Otero, premieres on Movistar. In October 2021 the podcast Estirando el chicle received the Premio Ondas al Mejor podcast or digital broadcast program, and in 2024 she received her third Ondas for the podcast Malas Personas.
