Jeff Innocent
About Jeff Innocent
Jeff Innocent's act is built on a contrast. He looks and sounds like an East End geezer, and then the material turns out to be educated, philosophical and closely tuned to the culture around him. He has worked as a stand-up since 1997, most of that time as a headliner on the UK club circuit, and his sets move between observation, storytelling and character work.
The first nationwide tour came late in the career. Smart Casual went on the road in 2024, and its night at the Theatre Royal Stratford East was filmed as his debut special, produced independently and put out free on YouTube in 2025. Clips from his sets have also found him a new, younger audience online.
