About Nathan Junior Caton

Nathan Caton (born Nathan Junior Caton, 2 November 1984) is an English comedian. He was born in Hammersmith, London, and raised in the West London town of Greenford. He attended Dormers Wells High School and then Richmond upon Thames College, where he became interested in comedy upon taking A Level Drama, continuing the interest while an architecture student at Anglia Ruskin University. In 2005, he won the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year award. The first in his family to graduate from university, he chose to pursue comedy full-time, much to his parents' initial disappointment. Caton is a Brentford fan.

Caton appeared on ITV's Comedy Cuts in 2007 after appearing at the Edinburgh Festival. In 2012, he did a tour called "Get Rich or Die Cryin'," and wrote and appeared in the Radio Four series Can't Tell Nathan Caton Nothing, which looked at how he went into comedy against his parents' wishes after his background in architecture. He has written for the children's series Rastamouse and the CBeebies series JoJo and Gran Gran.

In July 2012, he appeared on the Radio Four programme The Now Show, returning in March 2013 and October 2013. He has also appeared on Russell Howard's Good News and Mock the Week, and in 2014 hosted Videogame Nation for Ginx TV on Challenge.
