Luis J. Gomez
About Luis J. Gomez
Luis J. Gomez is an American stand-up comedian, podcaster, producer and writer based in New York City. He is a co-founder of the GaS Digital podcast network and of Skankfest, the long-running New York City comedy festival. Gomez is best known as one of the three hosts of the Legion of Skanks podcast, where he has built a reputation for edgy, confrontational comedy.
Luis J. Gomez launched the GaS Digital Network in 2016 with fellow podcaster Ralph Sutton, building a hub for independent, free-speech comedy podcasts. He co-hosts Legion of Skanks with Big Jay Oakerson and Dave Smith, the Real Ass Podcast with Zac Amico, and Believe You Me with Michael Malice. His television credits include NBC's Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central's Roast Battle, truTV's Comedy Knockout and two seasons of NBC Seeso's What's Your F@%king Deal?!. Gomez also co-created Skankfest, the cult NYC comedy festival that has sold out multiple years in a row. His stand-up is edgy, shock-driven and unapologetically un-PC, sharpened by years on the New York club circuit.
Luis J. Gomez headlines clubs and theaters across the United States, with frequent runs at The Stand NYC, Improv venues and Skankfest in New York. New episodes of Legion of Skanks and Real Ass Podcast stream weekly on GaS Digital and YouTube, and his stand-up clips appear on his channel @LuisJGomezComedy.
