About Nick Mullen
Nick Mullen, born in Gaithersburg, Maryland, in 1988, built his first big following through podcasting. From 2016 to 2022 he co-hosted a comedy podcast with Adam Friedland and Stavros Halkias, and after it ended he stayed with Friedland on The Adam Friedland Show, as co-host of its podcast and as a writer and producer of the show, which he also directed in its first season.
Much of his work has happened off camera. He wrote for Comedy Knockout on TruTV and for Problematic with Moshe Kasher on Comedy Central, produced Make Me Understand with Jim Norton for IFC, and was among the writers of The Roast of Kevin Hart for Netflix.
His stand-up is ironic, observational and self-deprecating, and internet culture is a frequent target. In December 2023 he put out the special The Year of the Dragon on YouTube, where his channel mixes full sets with short clips, among them crowd work from a show in Nashville and bits about working in HR and peer pressure. From 2025 he turned his attention mainly to touring as a stand-up.
